Poetry is one of the oldest and most heavily relied upon tools for increasing love of the Ahlul Bayt (as) in the hearts of their Shi'a. It depicts scenes, conjures emotion, relays merits and allows Mu’mineen to connect with the Best of Creation like no other.
Imam Sadiq (as) has said, "Anyone who remembers Husayn (as) and cries will be rewarded with Paradise."
