Khoon-e-Hussain

Ab Hashr Tak Lahoo Ko Na Muh Se Chhudaungi,

Until the Day of Judgment, I will not wipe this blood from my face.

1- Haq Se Kahungi Fatima Faryad Layi Hai, Ummat Ne Mere Laal Ko Mara Duhai Hai, Noha Yahi Mai Hashr Me Padhti Hi Jaungi,

I will say to the Truth (God), 'Fatima has brought a plea,' 'The Ummah has killed my son, hear my cry,' This is the lament I will keep reciting on the Day of Judgment.

2- Paani Dikha Dikha Ke Rulaya Hussain Ko, Nazron Ke Mere Samne Mara Hussain Ko, Roro Ke Apne Laal Pe Sabko Rulaungi.

They made Hussain weep by showing him water, They killed Hussain right before my eyes, Weeping and wailing for my son, I will make everyone weep.

3- Karte Raho Aye Momino Matam Hussain Ka Tum Sab Ke Kaam Ayega Ye Gham Hussain Ka Wada Hai Fatima Ka Tumhe Bakhshwaungi.

O believers, keep performing the mourning of Hussain, This grief for Hussain will be of use to you all, It is the promise of Fatima that I will have you forgiven.

4- Bacchon Ke Mere Khoon Se Tar Hai Meri Rida, Khanjar Se Haye Mera Bhi Zakhmi Hua Gala, Ashkon Ke Badle Aankh Se Main Khoon Bahaungi.

My cloak is soaked with the blood of my children, Alas, my throat too was wounded by the dagger, Instead of tears, I will shed blood from my eyes.

5- Dasht-E-Bala Ki Bekasi Us Dil Ke Chain Ki, Hogi Bapa Jo Hashr Me Majlis Hussain Ki, Jo Bhi Hue Wo Sare Masayab Sunaungi.

The helplessness of the desert of calamity, of that comfort of my heart, When the gathering for Hussain is held on the Day of Judgment, I will recount all the tragedies that occurred.

6- Ab Qabr Me Na Chain Se Soyegi Fatima, Jangal Me Apne Laal Pe Royegi Fatima, Hogi Jahan Pe Majlis-E-Shabbeer Jaungi,

Now Fatima will not sleep in peace in her grave, Fatima will weep for her son in the wilderness, Wherever the gathering of Shabbir (Hussain) is held, I will go.

7- Pehlu Shikasta Bibi Ye Kehti Hai Baar Baar, Jo Majlis-E-Hussain Me Rota Hai Zar Zar, Unko Liye Baghair Na Jannat Me Jaungi.

The Lady with the broken rib says this again and again, Whoever weeps bitterly in the gathering of Hussain, Without taking them with me, I will not enter Paradise.

8- Aamir Bataun Kese Mere Dil Ke Chain Ko, Meri Nazar Ke Samne Mara Hussain Ko, Aalam Ye Noha Hashr Me Padhti Main Jaungi.

Aamir, how can I describe the comfort of my heart? They killed Hussain right before my eyes, O world, this is the lament I will keep reciting on the Day of Judgment.
